CLIENT PROFILE: A global leader in freight forwarding and logistics solutions, delivering end-to-end supply chain services in the Philippines.

Take ownership of end-to-end logistics operations—from import arrival to final delivery. Lead warehousing, transportation, and vendor management while driving safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across all supply chain activities.


What You'll Do
Importation
  • Oversee full import lifecycle from container arrival to warehouse delivery.
  • Review import statuses, resolve issues, and ensure timely turnover.
Warehousing
  • Lead daily warehouse operations: inbound, storage, outbound, and returns.
  • Monitor activities and performance using Cello WMS.
  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc inventory counts; investigate and resolve variances.
  • Ensure safety compliance, training, and clean, organized storage conditions.
  • Build schedules, allocate manpower, and manage warehouse staff and agencies.
  • Strengthen team capabilities through coaching and performance reviews.
  • Drive warehouse optimization and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Manage key KPIs: On-Time GR, On-Time GI, Inventory Accuracy, On-Time Returns.
Transportation
  • Oversee transport planning, truck capacity, and daily operations via Cello TMS.
  • Select and manage logistics service providers; review contract terms.
  • Track LSP performance and lead improvement meetings.
  • Develop cost-reduction plans for transportation.
  • Handle irregularities, claims, and execute contingency plans.
  • Manage KPIs: On-Time Delivery, On-Time IOD, D2C NPS and improvement actions.
General Operations
  • Renew contracts and negotiate rates with service providers.
  • Coordinate with HQ/RHQ on DEM/DET issues, operational updates, and profitability initiatives.
  • Lead logistics innovation across warehouse and transport operations.
  • Support new business opportunities, including layout design and proposal preparation.

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Master's degree or certifications (CPIM, CSCP, Six Sigma, PMP) are a plus.
Experience
  • 10–15 years' progressive experience in logistics, warehousing, and transport management.
  • Minimum 5 years in a leadership/management role.
  • Strong background in import coordination, WMS/TMS operations, and vendor management.
Skills
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving capability.
  • Strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel, Power BI, and related tools.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Deep understanding of KPI management, continuous improvement, and safety compliance.
