About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Resource Planner Controller to join our dynamic team at Kintetsu World Express Phils., Inc. in the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in our production, planning and scheduling processes, ensuring the efficient flow of materials and resources to support our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and maintain master production schedules to align with customer demand and production capacity
  2. Coordinate with procurement, logistics and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources
  3. Analyse inventory levels, identify potential shortages or surpluses, and implement appropriate strategies to optimise inventory
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production bottlenecks and disruptions
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production plans, inventories and material requirements
  6. Assist in the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
  7. Provide regular reports and insights to management on production performance and resource utilisation

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar material resource planning or production control role, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry
  2. Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management and material requirement planning (MRP) principles
  3. Proficiency in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and production planning software
  4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  7. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related field
