About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Resource Planner Controller to join our dynamic team at Kintetsu World Express Phils., Inc. in the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in our production, planning and scheduling processes, ensuring the efficient flow of materials and resources to support our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and maintain master production schedules to align with customer demand and production capacity
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources
  • Analyse inventory levels, identify potential shortages or surpluses, and implement appropriate strategies to optimise inventory
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production bottlenecks and disruptions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production plans, inventories and material requirements
  • Assist in the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide regular reports and insights to management on production performance and resource utilisation

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar material resource planning or production control role, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry
  • Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management and material requirement planning (MRP) principles
  • Proficiency in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and production planning software
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related field
