Job description:

The Technical Service Engineer for Sanitary Wares is responsible for providing after-sales technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services to clients, distributors, and contractors. This role ensures proper installation, functionality, and quality performance of sanitary ware products while delivering excellent customer service and technical expertise.

They shall have the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support the installation and commissioning of sanitary ware products, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and installation standards
  • Conduct site inspections and provide hands-on guidance to installers, contractors, and partners to ensure quality and adherence to best practices
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to plumbing systems, fittings, and product performance, recommending solutions or replacements as necessary
  • Deliver both on-site and remote technical support to customers, dealers, and service partners, ensuring timely and effective resolution of concerns
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and after-sales service for key clients to maintain long-term product reliability and satisfaction
  • Facilitate training sessions for customers, installers, and sales teams on product usage, care, and maintenance to promote proper handling and reduce service issues
  • Prepare comprehensive service reports, including defect analysis and warranty claims, while maintaining accurate records of site visits, repairs, and customer feedback
  • Stay informed on product updates, technical innovations, and industry standards, and provide feedback to internal teams for product and service improvement

Qualifications:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related technical field (Licensed Engineer is preferred)
  • At least two (2) years of experience in technical service, maintenance, or installation of sanitary wares, plumbing fixtures, or similar products.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems, water supply, and sanitary installation standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and travel to different sites as needed
  • Proficient in MS Office and basic CAD (advantage)
