Job Summary:

Sunland Development Corporation is in need of an Accounting Officer – General Accounting who will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and supporting compliance with accounting standards and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record, post, and reconcile general ledger transactions.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports.
  • Handle bank reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments.
  • Ensure compliance with BIR and other statutory requirements.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and internal audits.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Preferably with at least 2 years of general accounting experience.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, QuickBooks, and other accounting systems.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized.
  • Can work under pressure and meet deadlines.
