About the role

Batangas Country Club Hotel and Resort (PCK Trade and Realty Corporation) is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our thriving finance team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our hotel and resort operations. This is a full-time position based in Batangas City, Batangas.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
  2. Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
  3. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  4. Provide support in the annual budgeting and forecasting process
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
  6. Collaborate with other finance and accounting team members to identify and implement process improvements
  7. Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and external partners

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry
  3. Proficient in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools
  4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Proactive problem-solving and analytical skills
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
