Job Summary

The Project Manager in food manufacturing is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects that improve operations, production efficiency, and product quality. This role coordinates with Production, R&D, QA, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with food safety standards. The Project Manager monitors project progress, manages risks, resolves issues, and drives continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and monitor food manufacturing projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Production, QA, R&D, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.
  • Ensure projects comply with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Track project KPIs and prepare regular progress reports.
  • Identify process improvements and implement solutions for efficiency and cost savings.
  • Support new product introductions, equipment upgrades, and facility improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in project management within food manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional projects and delivering results on time.
