As a Project Manager for our Office and Home Furniture Division, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire project lifecycle from kick-off to turnover. This includes meticulous planning, effective coordination, and ensuring the successful execution of projects within established timelines and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Job Description

Project Planning:

Develop comprehensive project plans from kick-off to turnover, outlining tasks, milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.

Ensure alignment of project objectives with overall business goals.

  1. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, plans, and progress reports.

Generate regular reports for Management, highlighting project status, potential risks, and proposed solutions.

  1. Time, Manpower, and Tool Management:

Efficiently allocate and manage project resources, including time, manpower, and tools.

Implement strategies to optimize resource utilization and productivity.

  1. Progress Monitoring and Problem Resolution:

Monitor project progress, track historical data, and proactively identify potential issues.

Provide practical and feasible solutions to challenges encountered during the project lifecycle.

  1. Delegation of Work:

Delegate tasks effectively, considering the strengths and expertise of team members.

Foster a collaborative and empowered team environment.

  1. Option Development:

Always explore and present alternative options and solutions to challenges.

Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in decision-making.

  1. Cost-Conscious and Detail-Oriented:

Ensure adherence to budget constraints and cost-effective project execution.

Pay meticulous attention to details to maintain the highest quality standards.

  1. Customer Satisfaction and Coordination:

Proactively engage with customers, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain smooth project flow.

  1. Team Interaction:

Conduct regular meetings with team to gather feedback, assign tasks, and address challenges.

Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

  1. Product Knowledge:

Possess a strong understanding of home furniture products and manufacturing processes.

Provide guidance and insights to the team based on product knowledge.

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the home furniture industry at least a minimum of 5 years of experience

Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes

Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create and manage detailed project plans

Exceptional communication and management skills

Proficient in using project management software and tools

A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
