Ind. Postuero - Nave 7-8Job SummaryWe are hiring a Junior Area Operations Manager to support day-to-day production activities across assigned lines or sections within an apparel manufacturing or export facility.
The role involves supervising floor operations, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring production targets are met with quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate has experience in garment production or factory floor supervision, is results-driven, and eager to grow into a broader leadership role in manufacturing operations. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in overseeing daily operations across designated production areas or sewing lines.
Monitor production output, line efficiency, and workforce performance. Support issue resolution related to manpower, materials, or production delays. Coordinate with quality, planning, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
Implement production plans and ensure alignment with operational standards and timelines. Maintain accurate reporting on production metrics and submit updates to senior management. Help ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and company policies on the floor.
Coach and support line leaders and operators to improve productivity and quality.Recommend process and workflow improvements to reduce waste and downtime. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. At least 2-4 years of experience in garment production, line supervision, or factory operations.
Knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, workflow balancing, and basic efficiency tracking. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-heavy environment.
