The Junior Area Manager oversees multiple store locations within the assigned area (Lucky Chinatown, Ayala 30th, Robinsons Place Manila, and SM Araneta). The role is responsible for achieving sales targets, maintaining operational standards, ensuring team performance, and delivering an excellent customer experience. Acting as the link between store operations and senior management, the Junior Area Manager supports business growth, drives store profitability, and ensures alignment with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales and Business Development

  • Monitor and analyze store sales performance; implement initiatives to achieve sales targets and profitability goals.
  • Identify business opportunities within the assigned area and recommend strategies to increase market share.
  • Ensure effective implementation of marketing and promotional programs at the store level.

2. Store Operations Management

  • Conduct regular store visits to review operational standards, visual merchandising, inventory management, and compliance with company policies.
  • Support stores in addressing operational challenges and resolving escalated customer concerns.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security standards across all branches.

3. People Management and Leadership

  • Supervise and coach Store Managers and their teams to meet performance standards and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Identify training needs and recommend development programs to improve employee skills and productivity.
  • Foster a positive work environment, motivating staff and ensuring alignment with company culture and values.

4. Reporting and Coordination

  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, operations, manpower, and customer feedback to senior management.
  • Act as the liaison between store operations and senior management, ensuring proper communication of directives, policies, and updates.
  • Collaborate with other departments (HR, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain) to support smooth operations and business objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in retail operations, preferably in electronics, IT, or lifestyle brands.
  • Previous supervisory or multi-store management experience is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications; knowledge in retail systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to operational demands.
  • Willingness to travel and be assigned to multiple store locations.
