About the role

Akari Lighting and Technology Corporation is seeking an experienced E-Commerce Manager to oversee the operations and growth of our Shopify-powered online store. In this full-time, on-site role based in Quezon City Metro Manila, you will be responsible for driving the success of our e-commerce platform and optimizing the digital customer experience.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Manage the day-to-day operations of our Shopify online store, including product cataloguing, order fulfilment, inventory management and customer service
  2. Develop and implement effective digital marketing strategies to drive traffic, engagement and sales through the e-commerce platform
  3. Conduct competitor and market research to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  4. Analyze website analytics and customer data to generate insights and make data-driven decisions
  5. Collaborate cross-functionally with the marketing, creative and technology teams to enhance the online shopping experience
  6. Monitor platform performance, identify issues and implement solutions to optimize conversions
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends, best practices and Shopify platform updates

What we're looking for

  1. 3-5 years of proven experience managing e-commerce operations, ideally on the Shopify platform
  2. Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media and email marketing
  3. Proficiency in web analytics tools and techniques to measure and improve website performance
  4. Excellent project management, problem-solving and analytical skills
  5. Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  6. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
