Accounting Associate

Salary Range: PHP 28,000 – PHP 40,000 per month (PH-based, remote)

The Accounting Associate maintains accurate records, performs reconciliations, and supports the month-end close process to ensure all financial data is current, accurate, and audit-ready. This role plays a critical part in keeping accounting operations efficient and compliant.

Reports to: Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • AP & AR Management: Process vendor bills, payment schedules, and customer invoices; ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Reconciliations & Documentation: Perform daily and monthly reconciliations for banks, credit cards, and merchants; maintain organized records and attachments.
  • Close & Reporting Support: Prepare journal entries, schedules, and checklists to assist during month-end close.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest workflow enhancements and assist in automation projects for repetitive accounting tasks.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • 2–4 years of accounting experience in AP/AR and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Odoo, Excel, and Google Sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.

Measure of Success

  • Timely reconciliations and error-free entries.
  • Completion of close checklist on schedule.
  • Accurate documentation for all financial transactions.
