Job Purpose

  • The Inventory Control Specialist supports the Presumptive program team by monitoring all accounts that are received via automation. They ensure that all information is properly imported into the departments database.
  • The Inventory Control Specialist creates and manages all client and internal reports needed to successfully manage the department's productivity. They will analyze data and create new reports for staff and management as needed.
  • Must be analytical, detail-oriented, process-oriented, very organized, and able to manage deadlines and time frames associated with each process while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process client reports to obtain daily referrals
  • Import daily referrals along with other account information into the Company's database
  • Navigate client hospitals' databases to locate patient's payment information
  • Confirm direct payments and enter updated payment information into the database
  • Create reports using Microsoft Excel and various software for analytical and statistical purposes
  • Use, protect and disclose patients' protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.

Qualifications

  • Have advanced skills in Excel and be able to create complex formulas
  • Advance knowledge on SSRS and SQL. Knows how to create complex formula and reports / dashboards using MS Excel.
  • Proficiency or advanced knowledge in Microsoft Word and Outlook with the ability to learn various in-house applications
  • Background in using Eagle and EPaces is a plus.
  • Experience in working with healthcare insurance coverages.
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize projects with deadlines
  • Strong communication skills are required (both oral and written) / Clear and Effective Communication
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
  • Detail and process-oriented
  • Strong investigatory and researching skills
