About the role

New Flavor House, Inc. is seeking a talented Research and Development Manager to join our dynamic team in Guiguinto Bulacan. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in driving innovation and developing exciting new food products that delight our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct extensive research and development to create innovative food products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate, prototype and refine new product concepts
  • Perform rigorous sensory evaluation and testing to ensure products meet quality and safety standards
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences and regulatory changes to identify opportunities for new product development
  • Analyse market data, consumer insights and competitor offerings to guide the R&D pipeline
  • Document and present research findings, test results and recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Support the scale-up and commercialisation of new products

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related scientific field
  • 5+ years' experience in a research and development role within the food manufacturing industry
  • Strong background in food product development, formulation, and sensory evaluation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Creativity and innovative thinking to develop unique and appealing food products
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Up-to-date knowledge of food safety regulations, industry trends and best practices
