MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate or undergraduate of a Bachelor's degree related to food science
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

  • Must have completed and defended thesis during undergraduate studies
  • With or without experience
  • Experience in industrial microbiology research is an advantage

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Isolation, presumptive identification, and biochemical testing of target microorganisms; perform microscopic examination, microbial screenings, and series of optimizations
  • Project handling involving microbial cultivation and product development (downstream processing)
  • Process optimization improving yield, viability, and stability of microbial cultures
  • Quality control and compliance ensuring adherence to regulatory standards
  • Data analysis and reporting; documenting experimental results, analyzing trends, and presenting findings for process improvements
