Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled DataStage Developer
responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of ETL solutions using IBM DataStage. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in
DataStage v11.5 or higher
,
SQL
, and
Windows/Unix scripting
, along with the ability to deliver high-quality data integration solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop system-level and component-level designs using Job Analysis and Solution Documents as input.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects to support design-related activities.
  • Develop new components or enhance existing ones based on the Job Design Document.
  • Create required project artifacts such as Job Design Documents, Unit Test Results, and Change Ticket/Package Documentation.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance and testing activities as outlined in the project plan.
  • Perform deployment and post-implementation support activities.
  • Ensure adherence to data and system standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Non-Negotiable Skills:

  • IBM DataStage v11.5 or higher
  • SQL (strong proficiency required)
  • Windows and Unix Scripting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3 years of experience as a DataStage Developer in complex enterprise environments or other related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Willing to work onsite 100% (BSO – BGC, Taguig City).
  • Willing to work on night and/or weekend shifts as required.
