About the role

As an Accounting Manager at Noble Hotel, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the organisation. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations. This full-time position is based in Cebu City, Cebu.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage the accounting team and oversee the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close processes
  2. Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and other key financial reports to support management decision-making
  3. Ensure the timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and compliance with relevant financial regulations
  4. Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard the company's financial assets
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support for various business initiatives
  6. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounting function
  7. Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a positive and productive work environment

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) qualification
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting management role, preferably within the hospitality industry
  4. Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  7. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to develop and mentor a team of accounting professionals
  8. Thorough understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and best practices
