We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Licensed Architectural Designer with a passion for residential design to join our team. In this role, you will focus on creating innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs for custom homes and residential developments. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision, provide design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery from concept through to construction.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Gathering necessary measurements, dimensions, and other routine calculations for design layouts.
  • Providing clients with suitable design recommendations based on factors such as budget, the building site, and recent trends.
  • Reworking and modifying designs based on comments and reviews from management and clients.
  • Providing management with estimates on cost, time, machinery, construction, and other specifications.
  • Ensuring all vital information and documentations is recorded and maintained.
  • Ensuring that all layouts and blueprints are compliant with industry codes and legal standards.
  • Handles the procurement of project materials, from sourcing to purchase of designed materials

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be familiar with basic architectural software (AutoCAD, Sketch app, Lumion Pro, Vray etc.)
  • Proficiency in Revit is an advantage.
  • Must have strong designs skills.
  • Must have communication skills.
  • Have to be flexible and have the ability to handle multiple tasks at a time.
  • Is forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices and contributes innovative ideas.
  • Must have the ability to collaborate, multi-task and work efficiently in a variety of teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or like
  • Able to work happily under pressure :)
  • Eager to tackle complex tasks
  • With an attached portfolio of completed designs.
  • Must know how to drive and hold a valid driver's license.

Licensed Architectural Designer is an advantage
