Billing and Collection Assistant

Job Description:
The Billing and Collection Assistant addresses customer complaints and queries through calls, emails and walk-ins pertaining to collection notices received as well as statement of account (SOA) concerns. He/she will do the monitoring of requests for SOA, payment restructuring and payment extension, and addresses internal client queries pertaining to billing and collection matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigates and resolves buyers' billing discrepancies or disputes promptly.
- Prepares statements of account (SOA) per request from buyers, sellers, or their authorized representatives.
- Coordinates with departments such as Treasury, Customer Care and Accounts Management on buyer concerns.
- Resolves buyers' concerns pertaining to collection, demand, or cancellation notices received or SOA issues.
- Performs the required Billing and Collection procedures for every collection cut-off and other related tasks that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Management Accounting, Financial Management or any four-year business-related course
- Intermediate to advanced skill in MS Office, Email Management
- Good communication skills, problem-solving, attention to detail and accuracy and process improvement
