Job Summary:

The shift supervisor is responsible for assisting the store manager in maintaining a positive environment, which provides fast, efficient, and friendly service. Shift supervisors assist in training, customer service, product knowledge, and education, encouraging safe work and practices. This position directly supervises the store associates positions and acts as the manager on duty in the absence, of the store and/or assistant manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing salespeople, cahiers, shelf stockers, and other employees.
  • Managing finances
  • Keeping records of expenditures, sales figures, and employee performance.
  • Evaluating the supply and availability of stocks and profit margins.
  • Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage.
  • Monitoring shelves' stocks and product displays, and the general appearance of the store.
  • Investigating market trends and offering products that would appeal to customers
  • Addressing customers requests, comments, and complaints.
  • Motivating employees to achieve targets.
  • Training new staff members and scheduling shifts

Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of retail experience, specifically in convenience stores.
  • Minimum high School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented and able to multi-task.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
