This position is responsible for completion of month-end close activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP, internal controls, reporting and monthly close responsibilities. Key functions include monthly journal entries and account reconciliations, including detailed variance analysis as required.

This position will need to need to work with Supply Chain and Operations to research inventory reconciling items and required inventory reserves. He/She need to book inventory and consumption related entries, identify required adjusting entries and ensure that monthly reconciliations are accurately and timely prepared. He/ She will need to handle, manipulate, analyze and synthesize large amounts of data to come up with answers or a plan for action.

1.Participates in month-end financial close activities including analysis for journal entry preparation (Accrual entry, reserve entry) ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

2.Provide timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and supporting documentation with focus on operational efficiencies and GAAP compliance monthly.

3.Support research and resolution of inventory reconciling items.  This includes supporting the Inventory Manager and working with Supply Chain and Operations.

4.Continuously work to improve efficiency and effectiveness of related business processes. Support process improvements and implementation efforts on all processes and systems that impact inventory management.

5.Support quarterly inventory reserve review and in-depth analysis.  This includes liaising with Supply Chain and Operations, and reporting results to Executive Management.

6.General Ledger Management / Sub Ledger.
