Email & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist (Klaviyo + Shopify)

About the Role

We are a fast-growing baby formula and baby products eCommerce brand looking for an Email & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist with strong experience in Klaviyo and a solid understanding of Shopify.

This role focuses on owning the full lifecycle experience across email, SMS, and app push notifications — from first-time welcome to long-term retention.

This is not a basic newsletter or copy-only role.

What You'll OwnLifecycle Flows (Email + SMS)

Build, optimize, and manage automated flows including:

  • Welcome & brand education series
  • Abandoned browse & abandoned cart
  • Post-purchase reassurance & cross-sell
  • Subscription retention & renewal reminders
  • Win-back & re-engagement
  • SMS flows aligned with email (cart, reorder, retention)

Campaign Planning

  • Plan and execute email + SMS campaigns (launches, promos, seasonal moments)
  • Create campaign calendars
  • Segment audiences properly (new vs repeat vs subscriber)
  • Balance education vs promotion (no spam tactics)

App Push Notifications

  • Set up and optimize app push notification flows
  • Align push messaging with customer lifecycle
  • Ensure messaging is calm, helpful, and conversion-focused

Shopify & Customer Understanding

  • Use Shopify behavior data for segmentation
  • Work with product, collection, and subscription logic
  • Understand parent-focused customer journeys and trust signals

Copy & Performance

  • Write or refine clear, calm, parent-friendly copy
  • A/B test subject lines, CTAs, and content
  • Track performance metrics:
  • Open rate
  • CTR
  • Conversion rate
  • Revenue per recipient

Optimization & Reporting

  • Review flow and campaign performance weekly
  • Identify gaps and opportunities
  • Continuously improve lifecycle experience

Required Experience

  • 2+ years hands-on Klaviyo experience
  • Strong understanding of Shopify eCommerce
  • Proven experience building email & SMS automation flows
  • Strong English writing skills
  • Experience with segmentation, conditional logic, and personalization

  • Shopify or DTC brands you've worked with
