Job Summary

The Purchasing Supervisor will oversee and manage the procurement of materials, supplies, and services to support the company's operations. This role ensures cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of all purchased items while maintaining good supplier relationships and compliance with company policies.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day purchasing operations and staff.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies according to production and company needs.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address delivery or quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and pricing.
  • Coordinate with various departments for purchasing requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and budget allocations.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports and cost savings records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or any related course.
  • At least 3 years' relevant experience in purchasing, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and purchasing systems.
  • Willing to be assigned on-site at the factory.
