About the role

Reporting to the Head of Research and Development, this full-time Research and Development Specialist role offers an exciting opportunity to join the innovative team at New Flavor House, Inc.' in Potrero Malabon City, Metro Manila. As a key member of the R&D division, you will play a pivotal part in developing new and improved flavours and food products that delight consumers.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting thorough market research to identify consumer trends and preferences in the food technology and safety industry
  • Designing and executing experiments to develop novel flavour profiles, textures and product formulations
  • Testing product prototypes and providing detailed feedback to optimise quality and taste
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with the sales, production and quality assurance teams
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in food science and technology
  • Documenting research findings and preparing comprehensive reports for key stakeholders

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or a related field
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in research and product development within the food and beverage industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings
  • Proficiency in using lab equipment and data analysis software
  • Passion for staying updated on the latest trends and innovations in the food technology and safety sector
