Who we are:
HOPE, the Philippines' first certified B Corp, is an impact organization that has consistently been 'Best for the World.' 100% of its profits are invested in improving public school infrastructure, increasing livelihood opportunities, and enabling efforts that conserve the environment.
Launched in 2012, HOPE's mission was simple: to provide Filipinos with an easy way to vote with their peso about what was important to them. We put Education at the forefront of our movement, building much-needed public school classrooms through the sale of our flagship product, Hope in Bottle.
In 2014, HOPE branched out to livelihood opportunities through agricultural interventions with the overall goal of increasing income for smallholder coconut farmers. As of 2024, we are on track to planting 2 million coconut seedlings and we look to engage even more smallholder coconut farmers in Mindanao.
Not wanting to solve one problem by contributing to another, HOPE set an audacious goal of becoming the first Philippine brand to offset 100% of its plastic footprint, making sure we walk the talk towards a safer and cleaner planet. In the same year, HOPE also launched Aling Tindera, a waste-to-cash program that aims to divert plastic waste away from nature, provide incremental income to communities, encourage behavior change and educate the public about responsible plastic waste management.

About the Role:
As the Executive Assistant to the Founder and Chairperson, you will play a pivotal role, acting as a
key advisor and strategic partner to the Founder. This position requires a dynamic and versatile
individual with exceptional organizational and communication skills, a keen understanding of business
operations, and the ability to navigate complex organizational challenges. You will offer high-level
personal and professional support, ensuring efficient execution of key tasks and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Support:
● Act as the primary point of contact and liaison between the executive and internal/external
stakeholders.
● Manage and prioritize the Founder's schedule, appointments, and communications.
● Oversee itineraries and logistics associated with the Founder's public speaking engagements,
presentations, and attendance at meetings and conferences, accompanying the Chair as
needed.
Project Management:
● Oversee special projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful completion.
● Coordinate cross-functional teams and provide leadership to achieve project objectives.
● Support the Founder on a wide variety of special projects and events.
Communication and Information Flow:
● Streamline communication within the executive team and across the organization.
● Prepare and edit reports, presentations, and other documents for executive review.
● Provide support on social media copywriting and administer the Founder's social media
accounts.
Problem Solving:
● Anticipate and address challenges, providing solutions and recommendations to executive
leadership.
● Facilitate resolution of issues by collaborating with relevant departments.
● Assess and troubleshoot issues and inquiries as directed by the Founder and work to resolve
them with internal and external stakeholders.
● As the "Chief Problem Solver," collaborate with stakeholders to fulfill the Founder's directives
and overcome roadblocks.
Decision Support:
● Provide critical analysis and insights to facilitate decision-making at the executive level.
● Manage minor accounting duties and ensure the Founder's documents and digital files are
filed and kept in order.
Representation:
● Represent the Founder and her work professionally in all interactions.
