Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities:
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of retail merchandise, store supplies, and equipment.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
- Coordinate with the merchandising, operations, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate stock replenishment and inventory levels.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and product quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
- Analyze market trends to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier contracts.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting procurement-related expenses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the retail or FMCG industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with inventory or procurement systems.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- With integrity, initiative, and strong sense of accountability.
