Job Overview

We are hiring a skilled Head Chef with experience in Japanese dishes and preferably ramen preparation. The role oversees daily kitchen operations, menu execution, food quality, and staff performance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead cooking of Japanese dishes: ramen, donburi, karaage, katsu, gyoza, tempura, and sides.
  • Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and portioning.
  • Oversee ramen operations (broth, toppings, noodles).
  • Manage prep schedules, workflow, and kitchen SOPs.
  • Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and equipment.
  • Handle inventory, ordering, and cost control.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
  • 2–3 years experience as Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Senior Cook in Japanese cuisine.
  • Knowledgeable in Japanese cooking methods; ramen experience is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage high-volume operations.
  • Experience in inventory, costing, and kitchen management.
