We are hiring a skilled Head Chef with experience in Japanese dishes and preferably ramen preparation. The role oversees daily kitchen operations, menu execution, food quality, and staff performance.
Responsibilities- Lead cooking of Japanese dishes: ramen, donburi, karaage, katsu, gyoza, tempura, and sides.
- Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and portioning.
- Oversee ramen operations (broth, toppings, noodles).
- Manage prep schedules, workflow, and kitchen SOPs.
- Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and equipment.
- Handle inventory, ordering, and cost control.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- 2–3 years experience as Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Senior Cook in Japanese cuisine.
- Knowledgeable in Japanese cooking methods; ramen experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organization skills.
- Able to work under pressure and manage high-volume operations.
- Experience in inventory, costing, and kitchen management.
