About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Kitchen Staff to join our team at Yayoi Restaurant in Talisay City, Cebu. As a full-time Kitchen Staff, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of high-quality Japanese cuisine, ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist the head chef in the preparation and cooking of a variety of Japanese dishes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following strict food safety and hygiene standards
  • Support the kitchen team in the efficient and timely delivery of orders
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to provide an exceptional dining experience for our customers
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of kitchen operations and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in a professional kitchen or restaurant environment
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and cooking techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and procedures
