The Payroll Master is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation, compliance with government-mandated benefits and contributions, and maintaining payroll records. This role requires high attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process payroll in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
  • Handle payroll adjustments such as overtime, deductions, incentives, and leaves.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records and related documentation.
  • Generate payroll reports and provide data for management and audit purposes.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance departments for employee updates (new hires, resignations, regularization, etc.).
  • Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Stay updated with government regulations and company policies related to payroll.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Officer/Payroll Master or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, labor laws, and government statutory benefits.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll systems/software.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
