Job Summary:
We are seeking a high-performing, results-oriented Associate Director of Client Relations & Sales Growth preferably from Logistics domain to lead the charge in expanding our client base and driving revenue across domestic and international markets. This is a leadership role for a strategic rainmaker—someone who can not only envision growth opportunities but also close high-value deals and build lasting client partnerships.
The successful candidate will serve as the focal point for business development and client relations, taking full ownership of sales strategy, client relationship management, and the execution of growth initiatives that align with the company's long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth:
- Serve as the lead strategist and executor for business growth and market expansion efforts.
- Identify, develop, and lead initiatives to penetrate new markets—both domestic and international.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through direct outreach, networking, referrals, and partnerships.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process—from prospecting and proposal development to negotiation and deal closure.
- Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to inform strategy and product positioning.
- Define and implement growth targets and KPIs; monitor performance and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Collaborate with marketing and executive teams to design tailored go-to-market strategies for different regions or industries.
- Seek and establish channel partnerships, joint ventures, or strategic alliances to expand market reach.
- Prepare business cases and ROI analysis for major growth opportunities.
- Coordinate with operations and solution teams to ensure deliverability and alignment of client needs with service capabilities.
- Own revenue targets, track performance, and report pipeline activity to senior leadership.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Build and manage high-level client relationships with a focus on long-term retention and value creation.
- Conduct detailed discovery meetings and needs assessments with potential clients to understand their operational challenges and develop tailored solutions.
- Oversee client onboarding and ensure exceptional service delivery in collaboration with internal teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to key accounts and a senior escalation point for issue resolution.
- Collect and analyze client feedback to enhance service offerings and build loyalty.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling across business verticals.
- Facilitate smooth transitions from sales to service delivery, ensuring a strong onboarding experience and clear scope execution.
Reporting & Strategic Input:
- Provide regular reporting on sales performance, market trends, pipeline status, and forecasted revenue.
- Advise senior leadership on business development strategy, competitive positioning, and expansion opportunities.
- Represent the company at conferences, networking events, and industry forums.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Management, Marketing, International Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 8–12 years of progressive experience in business development, strategic sales, or client acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets and ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products.
- Demonstrated success in closing complex sales with international clients, including contract negotiations and cross-border deal management.
- Strong knowledge of international markets, cultural business practices, and global sales strategies.
- Experience building business cases, forecasting revenue, and managing sales pipelines.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with executive-level stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Knowledge of how to develop client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
- Understanding of how to position products against competitors
Preferred Experience & Skills:
● Industry-specific experience in Financial Services, Logistics, HealthCare, Consulting
● Experience developing multi-year partnerships or enterprise accounts.
● Multilingual or experience working across culturally diverse markets is a plus.
● Familiarity with proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract law.
