Job Summary

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while providing excellent customer service to enhance the overall guest experience. This role requires creativity in crafting cocktails, accuracy in following recipes, and the ability to represent the unique identity of both Japonesa and Alamat. The Bartender will also maintain cleanliness, manage bar inventory, and ensure compliance with safety and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
  • Create innovative cocktails and drinks that align with the brand concepts of Japonesa and Alamat.
  • Provide warm, attentive, and professional service to guests seated at the bar and in the dining area.
  • Take drink orders accurately and coordinate with servers for efficient service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, tools, and glassware at all times.
  • Manage bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate orders with suppliers.
  • Assist in creating and updating the bar menu with seasonal or promotional beverages.
  • Suggest food and beverage pairings to enhance the dining experience.
  • Conduct regular bar opening and closing duties, including setup, restocking, and end-of-day reports.
  • Train and support new bar staff or servers on beverage standards and service flow.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to coordinate timely orders and smooth operations.
  • Stay updated on bar trends, mixology techniques, and beverage innovations.
  • Participate in marketing activities, events, and brand activations to promote the restaurants.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management promptly.
  • Uphold company standards for service, hygiene, and guest hospitality.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in bartending or mixology is an advantage.
  • Proven experience as a Bartender in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers.
  • Creativity and flair in mixology with the ability to design signature cocktails.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and organizational skills.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Flexible schedule, willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Familiarity with Filipino spirits, craft cocktails, or Japanese-Peruvian flavors is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
