About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic HR team at Virago Construction Corporation as an HR & Admin Officer. As a key member of the HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's human resources initiatives and ensuring smooth administrative operations. This full-time position is based in our modern office in Quezon City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing comprehensive HR support, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, and workforce planning
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations
  • Coordinating employee training and development programmes
  • Managing the company's administrative functions, such as office supplies procurement, facilities management, and vendor relations
  • Serving as a liaison between the HR department and other teams, fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements and contributing to the overall efficiency of the HR function

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in the construction or real estate industry
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, labour laws, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
  • Proficient in using HR software and MS Office applications
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and a high level of professionalism
