JOB DETAILS

The Administrative Officer is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources team including: maintaining compliance and training documentation for our field staff (including Care Workers, Disability Support Workers, Enrolled and Registered Nurses) and ensuring training program records are maintained as well as working on initiatives which support process improvements for the company. Liaise regularly with the Human Resources Manager and HR Advisors in New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland to determine day to day HR needs including recruitment, onboarding, and administration, specifically:

Recruitment and Onboarding


• Review the applicant database and job boards for suitable candidates based on region or specific client needs


• Undertake initial phone screening for field staff.


• Conduct reference checks aligned to resume history.


• Obtain all required documentation for compliance with employment requirements and onboarding .


• Schedule staff induction/orientation sessions HR Administration and Compliance.


• Maintain a computerised recruitment database.


• Monitor shift compliance activities for field staff.


• Maintain a computerised database of compliant documentation including employment requirement, certification, and clearances to ensure they are kept up to date.


• Follow up on training schedules for staff including orientation, mandatory training, and other compliance related activities.


• Provide administrative support for online or in-house training programs Generalist HR activities.


• Assist in administration of employee policies and practices which support high standards and professionalism, and which are aligned with both local employment legislation and with the values of the organisation.


• Participate in the development of learning resources and educational material for staff training.

Experience desired:


• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree. Relevant Qualifications such as Diploma in Human Resources / Business Administration are desirable.


• At least 2 years' experience working in human resources / administration support for Australian campaigns.


• Knowledge and understanding of compliance with regards to AU legislation and HR practices and policies.


• Strong HR admin/HRIS system administration is required.


• Demonstrated understanding of HR principle..


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to understand and interpret the health care industry and environment.


• A strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.


• Well-developed organizational skills with demonstrated initiative.


• Excellent interpersonal skills to provide a high level of service to both internal and external customers.


• Highly developed administrative skills.


• A professional, proactive, flexible and self-motivated approach to a busy operational hands-on role.


• Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines and with competing priorities.


• Excellent demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office suite and a range of digital tools.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• A professional approach to dealing with confidential staffing matters and personnel files.
