Job Summary:

The Psychometrician is responsible for administering and interpreting psychological tests, preparing reports, and ensuring the confidentiality and safekeeping of test materials. The role also involves counseling clients when necessary and conducting statistical research to support assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Development

  • Develop effective psychological testing programs.
  • Design appropriate batteries of psychological tests based on client needs or reasons for referral.

Administration & Reporting

  • Administer, score, and interpret psychological tests for applicants and clients.
  • Prepare comprehensive psychological reports based on test results.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's quality protocols.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Monitoring & Compliance

  • Encode all test results in the system (Asclepius) daily.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of psychological reports and client records.
  • Safeguard test materials and ensure their proper use.

Counseling & Support

  • Provide counseling support to clients when necessary.
  • Recommend further psychological assessments when needed and refer clients to accredited psychologists.
  • Assess and recommend if clients are psychologically fit for sea duty.

Job Authority:

  • Authorized to administer psychological tests.
  • Make recommendations regarding client psychological fitness and need for further evaluation.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Registered Psychometrician for at least a year
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, or related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in psychological testing or related field (required)
  • Knowledge of psychological testing tools and methods
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • With excellent counseling abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php23, Php25,000.00 per month
