The primary responsibility of the Test Development Assistant supports the

design and development of test contents and specifications. This role involves a combination

of technical tasks, administrative duties and execution assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works directly with Test Development & Design Specialists to deliver on time all assigned items, tests, and/or other assigned steps in the item and test development process and during the analysis phases to assist in quality assurance processes.
  • Review items submitted by outside item writers, including the correct answer; review all references provided by item writers for accuracy.
  • Ensure the editorial (grammar, spelling, application of item writing principles) accuracy of all items utilized in the construction of test forms.
  • Identify flaws potential issues with the test's design, clarity, or administration, ensuring it accurately measures what it intends to measure and is fair and effective for all subjects
  • Obtain copyright clearances for any artwork, images, or media utilized in the item.
  • Execute the final sign-off of printers' proofs and/or other steps requiring test development sign-off, including directory of test specifications as needed for the assigned project.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in any professional or educational testing environment involving item/test development/editing is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of the content area, including curriculum and instruction
  • BS in Education, Psychology, Measurement, English, Math, or other content
  • fields of specialty
  • Certification/License: Licensed Psychometrician or MS in Educational Assessment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php27,000.00 per month
