Job Description

As an Operations & Inventory Specialist, you will oversee orders, inventory, and logistics across multiple channels while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency. Your role keeps the engine of operations running, making sure products reach customers and partners seamlessly.

The Qualifications We Seek

• CPG Food Experience: 3 to 5 years in consumer packaged goods, ideally food
• Excel Pro: Advanced skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) are a must
• Logistics Know-How: Background in supply chain and/or domestic LTL/FTL shipping
• Detail-Oriented: Accuracy matters, especially with orders and inventory
• Inventory Management: Comfortable balancing inventory and demand
• QuickBooks Enterprise experience (or similar ERP system)
• EDI familiarity (nice to have, not required)

Your Daily Tasks

Sales Support and Order Management

• Manage customer orders across Amazon, Target, KeHE, UNFI, and more
• Review and process POs with accuracy and attention to detail
• Partner with sales to make sure customers get exactly what they need, on time
• Keep an eye on e-comm orders and fulfillment at our 3PL warehouse

Inventory and Supply Chain

• Track inbound inventory and keep stock levels balanced
• Monitor aging inventory and open orders, minimizing excess and out-of-stocks

Vendors and Production

• Place orders for ingredients and packaging with suppliers
• Partner with manufacturers to manage purchase orders for finished goods

Data and Reporting

• Use Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) to track sales, inventory, and orders
• Build reports that highlight trends and keep the team informed

Logistics

• Support the flow of goods from suppliers to warehouses to customers
• Coordinate shipping schedules and deliveries with logistics partners
