Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our company. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel or department.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a polite and professional manner.
- Manage the front desk area to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access (monitoring logbook, issuing visitor badges, etc.).
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for meetings and events.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support (e.g., data entry, photocopying, filing).
- Assist in preparing documents, reports, and presentations as needed.
- Maintain inventory of front office supplies and place orders when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Customer service orientation and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work Environment:
- Office-based position with standard business hours.
- May require occasional overtime or flexibility during peak times or events.
