Commercial Growth Director

We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Commercial Growth Director to lead the strategic planning, performance management, and execution of our entire inside sales and platform adoption engine. This management role has direct line responsibility for the commercial teams and is accountable for translating high-level business objectives into measurable, day-to-day growth and retention across both sides of the RxTro platform.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and People Management
Direct Leadership & Team Development: Provide direct line management, mentorship, and coaching to the Inside Sales Team Leaders and their subordinate teams. This accountability includes managing performance, driving succession planning, and ensuring the continuous development and enablement of the entire commercial Inside Sales function.
- Performance Accountability: Own and manage the entire Inside Sales P&L/budget related to growth and adoption targets. Drive the team to achieve specific platform adoption, feature usage, and retention KPIs.
Strategic Planning and Execution
Strategic Roadmap Ownership: Own the process of translating executive-level growth objectives (e.g., "Increase clinic sign-ups by 30%") into a detailed, executable 90-day operational roadmap. Define and resource the strategic experiments needed to unlock new growth channels.
- Account-Centric Optimisation: Oversee the analysis of key account and sales pipeline data (CRM and interaction insights). Design and enforce processes to maximise cross-platform engagement for both Life Sciences partners and medical professionals.
- Process and Quality: Standardise and enforce sales and account management methodologies, ensuring data integrity in the CRM and consistent quality in all in-person and remote engagements.
Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management
Executive Reporting: Present high-level, data-driven performance reviews and strategic recommendations directly to senior leadership.
- Enablement: Ensure the sales teams are effectively enabled with the tools, training, and strategic focus needed to succeed in their account progression and retention activities.
- Product Feedback Loop: Collaborate with the Product team to ensure user insights gathered from the sales floor are integrated into platform development priorities.
What we are looking for?
- Experience: 8+ years of commercial experience with a minimum of 3 years in a direct management role leading commercial or sales operations teams.
- Leadership Track Record: Proven ability to manage managers (Team Leaders) and drive performance through coaching and data-driven accountability.
- Strategic Acumen: Exceptional ability to create and execute measurable growth strategies in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment (like a two-sided platform).
- Industry Expertise: Strong experience in, or deep familiarity with, the Australian healthcare/Life Sciences sector is mandatory.
- Data Proficiency: Mastery of CRM systems and sales analytics to drive strategic decision-making and measure team performance.
