Job Description

This Project Officer will play a key role in the Company's strategic growth plan, which includes growth through the development and acquisition of conventional and

renewable generation project.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Business Development

· Identifies and evaluates the feasibility of new business opportunities

· Secures all contracts, permits and licenses that are necessary and are pre-requisite to constructing and/or operating the new business.

· Converts leads into opportunities and manage the internal RFQ process.

· Prepares, reviews, and presents RFQ and other opportunities with recommendations to

· senior management and investment committee.

· Develops and maintains pipeline programs and opportunities

· Develops and maintains relationship with key Energy personalities in government related agencies, other energy stakeholders, service providers, other related institutions, and advisers.

· Explores opportunities to form joint venture with local and international companies.

· Works closely with internal and partners Engineering and Project Management teams to develop project proposals and bidding packages.

2. Market Intelligence

· Monitors and gathers key industry intelligence, identities trends and translates into a periodic report summarizing key drivers and makes strategic recommendations on how to mitigate potential threats and capitalizes on upcoming opportunities.

· Provides in-depth information about competitive forces and identities critical opportunities for growth. Provides competitive market intelligence research projects to provide strategic insight to owners and business partners.

· Analyzes contestable energy market to identify opportunities for long term power supply offers.

· Analyzes current requirements of the Electric Distribution Utilities (DU) to identify possible power supply offers.

  1. Project Management

a. Develops clear project goals for time, cost and scope of the achievement of the Project.

b. Develops realistic milestones and a budget for total project costs

c. Recommends selection by Management of Contractors and consultants, including EPC and related service providers.

d. Directs and coordinates all Contractors, authorities, and service organizations related to the Project during the pre-development stage.

Qualification Requirements:

· Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field

· Possesses high degree of independence, initiative, and decisiveness

· Ability to work on multiple projects with strong self-motivation

· Must be willing to travel

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Proficient in MS Office

· Knowledge and experience in multidisciplinary project management for contract development

· Fresh graduate is welcome to apply
