Project Development Officer

Position Summary:

The Project Development Officer – Civil Engineer shall provide key technical support, and expert knowledge based on his or her technical competency in support to the Technical Team Lead and Project Managers for the development of various wind farm projects of the Triconti ECC Renewables Corporation (the "Company").

He / she shall likewise be involved in Civil Works, Logistics, and in Health, Safety, and Environment activities as the project assignment requires.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Project Development

a. Play an active role in any development stage of a given project by providing valuable and relevant support to the Technical Team Lead or Project Manager under his / her assigned technical role.

b. Prepare or review technical documents, presentations, reports, material studies, or other documents relevant to the project, based on his / her technical role.

c. Operate, monitor, or maintain tools or data issued to him / her in the performance of his / her duties on the assigned technical role.

d. Manage assigned key project deliverables in coordination with the local and international project teams.

e. Ensure the successful delivery of his / her assigned technical service for the project in accordance to workstream standards and protocols.

f. Create and conduct technical presentations, project reports, and others that may be communicated to a technical or non-technical audience.

g. Conducts site visit, evaluation, field studies, legwork, and / or local stakeholder management and coordination relevant to the development and completion of the project.

h. Conducts research on readily available data and innovative technologies, trends, best practices, or legislation which can be applied to the projects.

2. Civil Engineering and Logistics

a. Responsible for the overall design of the road network layout and all other components involving facilities and logistical requirements for projects.

b. Design various engineering elements and components that are integral in developing a wind farm project based on existing standards and specifications.

c. Analyze configurations and make calculations on the basic component of a structure considering strength of construction and proper selection of materials.

d. Calculate earthwork volumes for site development (i.e., cut and fill calculations)

e. Prepare, review and / or sign project drawings (i.e., Building Permit).

f. Prepare or review the project's terms of reference in collaboration with the Technical and Project Management Team.

g. Review contractor's design, drawings, structural specifications, and calculations when applicable and monitor and inspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure structural soundness.

h. Collaborate with the Project Support Officer, Technical Team, and Project Managers in the preparation of Request for Proposals (RFPs).

i. Collect, provide technical evaluation, and recommendations for quotations and proposals from different contractors.

j. Prepare list of estimates for project materials and costs (i.e., bill of quantities and materials)

k. Consult and negotiate with logistics providers and consultants (e.g., logistics planning, importation, and exportation).

l. Manage, liaise, and negotiate with different contractors and consultants for project construction.

m. Supervise project construction when needed.

3. Health and Safety

a. Manage the effective implementation of the Health and Safety Plans and Standards to his / her assigned projects and collaborates with the internal Health, Safety, and Environment Team of the Company.

b. Serve as the Safety Officer of an assigned project in compliance with the safety and health policies under the Renewable Energy Safety, Health, and Environment Rules and Regulations.

c. Represent the Company for other safety accreditation or certification of the projects with relevant government agencies as needed.

4. General Ad Hoc Activities

a. Perform related ad hoc activities that may be assigned by the Management, Project Managers, or Technical Team Lead from time to time.

Skills Requirement and Qualifications:

a. A bachelor's degree holder in Civil Engineering, preferably a licensed Civil Engineer.

b. Preferably with advanced proficiency on the use of key software (AutoCAD & Civil 3D, Google Earth, any GIS software, STAAD or ETABS)

c. At least a Certified Safety Officer 2 under DOLE-Occupational Safety and Health Center or a DOLE-accredited Training Center. A higher Safety Officer certification is preferred but not required.

d. Ability to work and multi-task under pressure, respond quickly to changing situations in complex project environments, prepare responses/narrative quickly and clearly and use personal initiative.

e. Must possess an exceptional interpersonal, analytical, networking or negotiation skills, and a highly articulate collaborator.
