OVERALL PURPOSE:

  • To assist the Purchasing Department in achieving its Gross Income (G.I.) and Operational Efficiency (O.E.) targets by effectively and efficiently performing assigned operational functions.
  • To serve as the Purchasing Department's customer service representative, both to internal and external parties.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Prints needed reports and distributes them to the correct parties:

  2. AM Reports

  3. PM Pricing Reports
  4. Promo Reports
  5. CSLA Reports
  6. Weekly Reports
  7. Requisitions Purchase Advice for all vendors forwards Purchase Orders (P.O.) to different distribution centers, and faxes/emails/EDI's P.O.'s
  8. Works with SSCC's and vendors' distribution/logistics representatives to ensure compliance of Vendor Transaction Procedures
  9. Assists the Purchasing Department in the complete implementation of different processes, such as Stock Transfers, Re-Casing, Break Casing, Premiums Entry, Short-Packing, RTVs, Item Deletion, Issuing of DM's and CM's, Change in Item Codes, New-Old Item Entries, Item Creation, among others
  10. Collects and enters competitors' price data and forwards variance reports to concerned parties
  11. Answers queries, consolidates requirements, and keeps active files of potential new vendors
  12. Enters volume orders
  13. Distributes samples for sales, HR or admin use monthly
  14. Asks buyers to update needed documents and forwards them to concerned parties. Needed documents include rebate checking and collection, BO guidelines checking, promo out of stocks, etc.
  15. Makes reservations (car/driver/ meeting room/learning center) for the Purchasing Department
  16. Meets all prescribed Operational Efficiency, Timeliness, and Accuracy standards
  17. Provides the Purchasing team with all the administrative and clerical support they need
  18. Prior experience with purchasing systems or software is preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in any business related course
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • With high accuracy in typing and keen to details
  • Must maintain 98% accuracy in typing standards
  • Must be willing to work full-time in Binondo
