Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing & Negotiation: Researching suppliers, getting quotes, comparing prices/quality, negotiating terms, and recommending cost-saving strategies.
  • Order Management: Preparing and processing purchase orders (POs), materials requisitions, and contracts; following up with suppliers on status and potential delays.
  • Vendor Relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, resolving discrepancies, and evaluating their performance.
  • Inventory & Logistics: Monitoring stock levels, coordinating with warehouse staff, ensuring timely delivery to job sites, and managing delivery schedules.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, vendor info, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Administrative Support: Providing general clerical support, data entry, and generating reports for the purchasing department.
