PC EXPRESS is looking for an IT SUPPORT STAFF

The IT Support Staff is responsible for maintaining the ticketing system and providing first and second level support. Our IT Support Staff have the following responsibilities in the Branch and HO:

Technical Support

  • They respond to branch and HO inquiries, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues
  • They provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, printers and other devices
  • They assist branch or HO with remote support (Any desk) and help-desk ticket resolution

System Setup & Maintenance

  • Knowledgeable in installing and configure operating systems, applications, and peripherals
  • Set up Zimbra new user accounts, email, and access permissions
  • Maintains and update software and drivers both in the branch and HO

Network & Connectivity

  • They are monitoring the Local Area Networks (LAN), Wi-Fi, and internet connections
  • They are assisting branch and HO with basic network troubleshooting and device connectivity

Security & Data Protection

  • They help in enforcing IT security policies such as password protocols, antivirus updates
  • They reports suspicious activity or potential security breaches in the systems

Documentation & Inventory

  • They maintain records of IT assets, software licenses, and repairs
  • They document technical issues and resolutions for future reference

Qualifications:

  • Four year graduate of relevant bachelor's degree.
  • At least 1 year of work experience.
  • Able to understand and resolve technical problems independently.
  • Knowledgeable in LINUX servers and network security.
  • Willing to travel anywhere
  • Willing to work on-site (San Juan, Manila) from Monday to Saturday with compressed schedule.

Note: Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
