The CCTV Operator is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the safety and security of the hotel by operating and maintaining the CCTV surveillance system. The operator must observe activities within the hotel premises to prevent crime, ensure guest safety, and assist with any incidents that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously watch live camera feeds across hotel premises (rooms, lobbies, parking, etc.).
  • Report any suspicious activity or security threats to the security team.
  • Ensure video footage is recorded and stored for later review.
  • Retrieve footage when needed for security checks or investigations.
  • Regularly inspect CCTV cameras and equipment to ensure they are working properly.
  • Report any malfunctioning cameras or systems to maintenance.
  • Quickly alert security personnel or management if a security threat or emergency occurs.
  • Assist with identifying suspects or incidents through CCTV footage if required.
  • Monitor areas like entrances, exits, and emergency exits to ensure safety compliance.
  • Keep track of any unusual behavior or activities and inform relevant authorities.
  • Keep all security footage and information confidential.
  • Share footage only with authorized personnel for investigations or emergencies.
  • Prepare reports on incidents or anything suspicious observed through the CCTV system.
  • Document any maintenance issues or damages noticed during monitoring.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • College Graduate
  • Experience in operating CCTV systems or working in a security environment is required.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify suspicious behavior.
  • Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly.
  • Ability to stay alert and focused for long periods.
  • Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to handle stressful or emergency situations calmly.

Work Schedule:

  • Shifts may vary (day or night shifts) to ensure 24/7 security monitoring.
