JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Carries on errands such as procuring items from other departments.
  • Monitor and prepare requisitions of supplies requested by Nursing Service Unit.
  • Requests additional supplies as needed from Central Supply Room.
  • Examines and checks incoming property and notifies his immediate superior about the damage for immediate replacement.
  • Identifies materials and supplies according to type of object.
  • Gives prices of items on inventory sheet from the established pricelist for audit.
  • Keeps records of incoming and outgoing materials and inventory.
  • Orders, receives and records receipt of supplies, materials and equipment.
  • Reviews report of materials received, verifies and routes a variety of receipts.
  • Maintains adequate stock levels, preparation of disposal asset forms for expiry and defective.
  • Maintains safe, clean and orderly work area; performs necessary cleaning tasks as appropriate to the work setting.
  • Performs other tasks that maybe given by the superior from time to time.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Education:

  • Graduate of any four (4) year course.

Skills:

  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Keep accurate records.
  • Utilizes knowledge of hospital storekeeping.
  • Has the ability to work in a people-oriented focused environment.
  • Must be physically and mentally fit and possess pleasing personality with moral and ethical behavior.
