About the role

Eastvantage Business Solutions Inc. is looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our thriving healthcare account team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for handling claims and billing inquiries, providing excellent customer service to our clients and their patients.

What you'll be doing

  • Respond to inbound calls from clients and patients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to claims and billing
  • Accurately document customer interactions and update customer records
  • Work closely with the billing and claims teams to ensure timely and efficient resolution of issues
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and recommend process improvements
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and quality standards

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or call centre role, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to effectively handle complex customer inquiries
  • Proficient in using computer systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
