Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Loan Processor with solid experience in the Australian mortgage industry. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end loan processing cycle, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with Australian lending regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of self-employed applications, SMSF loans, and refinancing, along with hands-on experience using Infynity and servicing calculators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full mortgage processing workflow from submission through to settlement.
  • Ensure all loan applications meet lender and regulatory requirements (NCCP, responsible lending).
  • Liaise with brokers, clients, and lenders to collect and verify required documents.
  • Review and process broker notes, financial statements, tax returns, and supporting documentation.
  • Order valuations and interpret reports in line with lender criteria.
  • Handle complex loan types including self-employed, SMSF, PAYG, refinance, and trust loans.
  • Use Infynity and servicing calculators to assess serviceability and data accuracy.
  • Maintain clear communication with all parties to ensure efficient loan progress.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in mortgage loan processing within the Australian finance industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial documents (e.g., tax returns, BAS, payslips, bank statements).
  • Proficiency in Infynity and relevant loan software/tools.
  • Knowledge of servicing calculators, income assessment, and lending policies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience working with brokers and aggregators.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with loan origination systems and aggregator platforms (e.g., AFG, Connective, PLAN).
  • Experience processing SMSF and trust loans.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
