Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant I to join our growing accounting team. You will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with reconciliations, and ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP while working closely with senior accountants.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with general accounting tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes for US clients.
  • Help prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and documentation.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with US accounting policies, procedures, and GAAP standards.
  • Perform data entry, maintain accounting records, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation for US audits.
  • Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects and ad hoc reporting.
  • Stay updated on basic US accounting principles and industry best practices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships or training experience accepted).
  • Basic knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; exposure to accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop professionally in US accounting practices.

Schedule: Night Shift

Setup: This is a remote (work-from-home) position open to candidates based anywhere in the Philippines.
