Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated US Tax Associate I to join our team. This role is ideal for someone beginning their career in accounting and taxation who is eager to specialize in US tax. You will assist in preparing federal and state tax returns, supporting compliance processes, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting for clients in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and filing of US federal and state tax returns.
  • Review financial documents to ensure accuracy in US tax-related reporting.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of tax filings and related documentation.
  • Research basic US tax issues and regulations to support compliance needs.
  • Support client inquiries related to US tax compliance and documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to ensure timely delivery of tax services.
  • Stay updated on changes in US tax laws and regulations relevant to assigned work.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or tax preparation (internship or experience with US tax is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Basic understanding of US tax regulations and accounting principles preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Eagerness to learn, with the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Schedule: Night Shift

Setup: This is a remote (work-from-home) position open to candidates based anywhere in the Philippines.
