Your Role

As an Investigative Support Specialist, you will:

The role involves reviewing and summarizing witness statements, drafting investigation plans, organizing case files, and performing other administrative tasks to support the investigation team. This position is ideal for someone with legal, HR, or investigative support experience who thrives in a structured, confidential, and deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and summarize witness affidavits in clear, concise, and objective language.
  • Prepare draft investigation plans based on provided templates and case facts.
  • Organize and track case documents using internal naming conventions and secure systems.
  • Draft routine investigative correspondence (e.g., witness notification emails, document requests).
  • Maintain case status logs and report updates to lead investigators.
  • Assist with compiling Final Report folders and ensuring file completeness.
  • Follow federal EEO procedures and confidentiality standards.

What You Need

Non-negotiables
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat).
  • Ability to understand and summarize complex written statements with precision.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skill.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential material discreetly.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, HR coordinator, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Title VII, ADA, ADEA, or federal EEO complaint processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in public administration, human resources, criminal justice, or a related field.
