  • Assist in handling the day to day operations of the whole pollution control activities of the property,
  • Responsible in performing preventative functions in a courteous and restrained manner, in coping with emergencies by identify, investigate, monitor and rectify pollution within the property.
  • Develop policy as required in the various fields related to the activities.
  • Assist in training and supervising hotel staffs and applies relevant environmental principles to ensure that we are within standard.
  • You are the one responsible in assisting & implementation for the smooth day to day operations of the Safety Dept., making sure that everything is within service standard of the hotel.
  • To supervise and monitor the day-to-day operation/inspection of the Engineering Dept. & Steward Section of all grease trap & holding tanks.
  • To supervise and monitor the day-to-day operation/inspection of the Housekeeping Dept. of all garbage holding areas (hazardous & non-hazardous) & recycle holding area.
  • To supervise and monitor the day-to-day disposal of the Engineering Dept. all garbage holding areas (hazardous & non-hazardous) & recycle holding area.
  • To supervise and monitor the day-to-day inspection of the Engineering Dept. of all potable water drinking station, conducting monthly test (water test - CRL).
  • To supervise and monitor the day-to-day inspection of the Engineering Dept. of the boilers, genset & LPG Farm, conducting quarterly test as needed.
  • Identification, investigation and monitoring of air, land, noise and water pollution within the property. Taking formal and informal action to secure environmental improvement in appropriate cases.
  • Development of new policies in areas related to the work of the section as required, and modifications to existing policies as legislation or circumstances demand
  • Processing of applications for permits (DENR), including the inspection of premises, preparation of documentation, and the writing of authorization/permit conditions to ensure compliance with conditions.
  • Identification of areas which would benefit from environmental improvement in terms of pollution reduction, preparation of such improvement strategies in conjunction with others, and their implementation.
  • The enforcement of environmental health legislation specifically related to the specialist section.
